This e-mail alert thingy took us ages and many caffeine fuelled evenings to create, so please, please use it. We think it's a great function, basically, you add the town or village or city (or suburb) that you are interested in hearing about, chuck your e-mail address in below and hey presto you are set up.

Now whenever anyone comments about that place you're interested in, or indeed create a new listing i.e. adds a new shop, school, pub, railway station, you name it - you'll instantly get an e-mail with a link and can check it out. We think it's brilliant, a bit like Facebook comments but for a place.

P.S. What's really great is that you don't even need to create and account/log in, to set up an alert - happy days!
